This page is a collection of AHMP-NJ (formerly ACHMM-NJ) activities and events related to the CHMMunity® Outreach Program established by the Academy of Certified Hazardous Materials Managers (ACHMM) in 2008. CHMMunity® is a national community service initiative to encourage Certified Hazardous Materials Managers (CHMMs) to promote environmental, health and safety and proactive management of hazardous materials in their communities.

Parker Trail Maintenance - October 10, 2020
AHMP-NJ members and friends met up at High Point State Park to clean-up part of the Parker Loop. The full loop is an 11.8 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Montague, NJ. Our team concentrated on about 1.8 miles of the trail.
This year we had 9 member and friends of AHMP-NJ help with the trail maintenance. We cleared the 1.8-mile trail of many fallen trees and branches and overgrown scrub. Firmenich, Inc generously catered the breakfast and lunch to begin and end our energetic activity.
